Okay so...more about the weekend...
Here's the group shot from Sunday...it's so interesting to see what everyone is working on! One lady is an Alpaca/Llama judge, so she was working on spinning up her samples for judging...what an awesome spinner she is too, and quite a character I must say! Another lady was spinning silk...what beautiful shades of melon & pinks!
See me...the industrious spinner that I am! I'm actually working on spinning some merino top that was challenging my mental state!
Remember to check out Robin's blog for her take on the whole experience!
Here is the "Highlander" singles I showed you yesterday as the finished product...
And here it is plyed...and the picture just doesn't show the colors like I want!
Robin mentioned in her blog that Jack and I went for a hike and drive to the waterfalls...this is a shot from Saturday afternoon, at the crest of the waterfalls...
The hike, which took place on Friday afternoon...well, lets just say I'm STILL sore from it! But it counted towards my Runagogo miles! Just 30 miles to go...and of course the wind was so bad today I couldn't get out and walk.
One more GREAT shot of the falls...
Stay tuned for more about the trip!
Tomorrow...I teach 3rd-5th graders how to knit! Wish me luck!!
Keep on Knittin', Spinnin' and Walkin'!!
