Have you ever experienced the loss of a beloved pet? I have, and I'm not looking forward to it when Mr Ace passes...one of my blog buddies lost her beloved dog today. This was VERY sudden and unexpected. Go by and give Sue some love!!

They will not go quietly,
the pets who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
their spirit still survives.
Old habits still can make us think
we hear them at the door
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,

my heart goes out to them...
Excuse me while I go get a tissue after reading that poem. We just marked the day we had to put our dog Morgan to sleep last year and I still think about her alot. It's amazing to me how much we bond with pets and how much we mourn when they are gone. That bond is truly something special.
My thoughts are with Sue and her family.

Thanks for letting us know. That's one of the very toughest things to go through..I know.
