Well, I've had some very interesting guesses about my last post...1 very close guess! I've already spilled the beans to one loyal reader so there is one person who knows the answer...nope, I'm not giving any more clues!
The reason for this post is to share something. When I was at Smoky Mountain Spinnery on Saturday, the owner Nancy places one of these small cards in each persons bag...I want to share it with you!
Smoky Mountain Spinnery's Motto
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our ATTITUDES.

So true...so true!! I think it would be a good idea to post this at work...so as to remember it's how I react to what happens...
Stay tuned...I'll be posting pics of my new surprise as soon as it gets here...sometime towards the end of the week!! WooHoo!!!
Keep on Knittin', Spinnin' & Walkin'

Excellent about attitudes. They do make all the difference in life. Hope you aren't buried in ice and snow too bad. We are. I, too, am anxious to see what you have coming. Scottish heritage? A set of bagpipes?
Well, perhaps it has something to do with spinning -- are you getting a new wheel? Or some kind of pretty Scottish drop spindle?
