WWCS Topic and WIP Progress

What is the ideal setting for enjoying the perfect cup of coffee? Who would be there - or would you be alone? Inside or out? Morning or night? With food or just the steaming cup of joe?

Boy, this is a loaded question! here goes~~I really prefer to have my first "Cup of Joe" by myself, wrapped up on the couch or if we are camping by the campfire...most people don't want to be around me until I've had that first couple of sips, so being alone is best! I can't even begin to think about eating anything until I've had my coffee. I only drink coffee first thing in the morning, because I only drink what my Dad refers to "Leaded" or regular coffee so drinking coffee at night is not good if I want to sleep. I do enjoy a cup of herbal tea or hot cocoa at night, that sends me right off to dreamland!

Now for the "Knitting Content" of this Knitting Blog. I made great progress on the 'never-ending' sweater vest for my Dad! Yippeeee! I'm almost done...
The mittens for KUTO are almost complete, I have until Friday to complete the last one~~I think I can do, I KNOW I can do it!
Next on my list are a few Christmas presents, I'm thinking about Fetching for both my step-daughters...they're quick knits, right?

Better go get busy!

Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!!!

Oh, I hear you on the solitary cuppa joe... I get up early because I enjoy that time, just me and my cup of hot goodness!
Sweater is looking good!

Would you believe me if I told you I've been drinking coffee since I was in 3rd grade? Yeah... I was born in Taiwan and the high pressure of school work makes all kids drink coffee early in age... Maybe that's why I'm so short?! Anyways, I don't really drink that much anymore, only the special ones that come out, like Pumpkin Coffee or Latte from DD or their ice coffee in a hot day. I do however like to drink my daily cup of hot cocoa first thing in the AM alone. People at work knows not to bother me until I have an empty cup on my desk. :) Yes, I train them on that.

The vest is coming along nicely. I know what you mean about never ending... I knitted two for my dad in three months and I don't think I ever want to do that again in a row!!!

I love fetching... it is SUPER fast :)

I need a cup of coffee or two to kick start me when I get up. Notice I didn't say in the morning!!!

Ideally I'd like to be on my own, but with 2 boys that get up before the birds this is impossible.

The vest is coming on great. I have a few xmas knits I need to finish and a few I have yet to start!

I knit several pairs of Fetching last xmas, and yes they are fast, and were a big hit. I did lengthen them at the cuff and at the top. But, everyone in my family is very tall and has long hands.

Definitely with you on the leaded part, but I drink so much at this point that the caffeine has little or no effect, unless of course, I have none :o

Great looking vest! I'm so jealous of you garment knitters!

Why does coffee always taste better everywhere else than home? Or is it just me?
Yes, Fetchings are fun and easy but be careful of the one skein possibiity. I did one pair with one skein and another pair I ran out of yarn. Still can't figure that out! I used RYC Cashsoft Aran.

There aren't too many people I can handle before my first cup of coffee, so my perfect cup of coffee would definitely taste better alone. I definitely can't eat before coffee either.
