(besides missing a few days blogging) I acquired more spinning fiber! A VERY precious fiber ~ Cashmere? Vicuna? Quiviut?
Oh no...more precious than any of those! This is about 1 oz of Rudy hair, the only "puppy hair" he'll produce! In another month or so he'll start getting his adult hair.
I'll have to blend it with something probably Angora. But isn't it purdy?!
The groomer didn't even bat an eye when I asked for the clippings, I guess there are other spinners out there who do the same thing.
Here he is on "Daddy Watch"!
Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!!

I've heard dog hair spins up very nicely--very soft. I have a whole bag of dog hair from my old Chesapeake Bay Retriever that I haven't had spun up yet. One day I will, but right now I just don't have the money to pay someone else or the skill to do it myself.
What a wonderful thing to do. I wish Milo had hair like that so I could have it spun. Your Rudy is so adorable!
:-)
it is a pretty color for sure
He is so darn cute!
Hi Robin ~ wow, robins singing and flowers blooming?!? I know our time for all of that will come, but right now we are sitting under several inches of snow and a wind chill advisory (actual temps are -8!) Great weather for spinning wool....take care!
Sweet! Can't wait to see it spun up.
Aw. I love that he's waiting for his Daddy.
How funny! Is his hair soft?
It will be pretty spun up:)Hugs Darcy
Did you see my last WoW post? I'm spinning my friend's cat fur now. LOL It's turning out really pretty. :)
