Panic?!?!?!

The time has come...

I'm at the "cutting" part and I'm sweating! I know I HAVE to do it in order to pick up stitches for the sleeves...I've been to the sewing machine twice and walked away.
I think I'll spin and get my courage up!
I don't think I can do anything else while watching "The Games" today!
Go Packers!!! Today (and hopefully again in 2 weeks)...I'm a "Cheesehead"!!

How I spent yesterday...

Well, I was invited to go to the home of one of the gals from our Knit/Spin group for a day of fibery fun.
That didn't happen~

I was side tracked unexpectedly, "Favorite Niece" Maggie came by wanting to put a puzzle together with Aunt Robin~~I couldn't say no.

Then...

My DS called to ask if I could "BabyPuppy sit" while he helped my brother with a project...I couldn't say no to that either!
We had a blast!!!

I finally got to some fibery fun last night after everyone left!

BTW~almost $5000 damage on the truck...ouch!

Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!

Go Packers!! Of course, we are Cheeseheads, too. But glad we aren't there for the game. Tooooooo cold! Good luck with the steeks. I'm not sure I would ever have the courage.

You can do it! (even as I say it, it scares me) but, YOU can do it, even if it scares me. lol

Looks like a fun day, full of pups and nieces =)

I have faith in you--along with awe that you are attempting such a thing! I read about them and then wonder if I have it in me to do it! Good luck!

Ouch on the truck (but so glad the hub is okay!)...been there with a head on with a logging truck about 6 years ago...$7K was the damage to mine. Hurts!

I love the colors! It is turning out so great! The cutting would be fine I'm sure - although I would be so nervous if it was me!

Cute pup!

Sorry about the truck! At least DH is okay. :)

Sounds like the diversions were good ones! Time with family is always wonderful and puppysitting Milo looks like a bonus situation. :)
So sorry to hear the damage to the truck was that much tho. Yikes.

I think Milo knows he's cute - he poses for the camera like a pro. giggle

Good luck. I don't know that I could cut, so I just avoid all patterns that suggest such.

Milo is DARLING! I'm sure you had a ball. Your niece is cute too.

It doesn't take much for thousands of dollars of damage these days. Sorry though!!

That cutting looks scary. But you'll be just fine. And I believe I felt faint when I read how much damage there was to the truck. Holy crap in a can!!!

I've never steeked before, but I know you can do it. Just get your inner "Fearless Knitter" on and go for it!

How lucky you are to be able to Puppy Sit! Milo is just about the most adorable puppy on 'net. :)

Ewwwww...I feel for you. I haven't ventured into sweaters yet, but when the time comes, the idea of cutting would make me shake in my shoes too. Good luck, Robin, and I'm sure you'll do a great job of it. Puzzles & puppy sitting sounded like fun.

Sorry about your truck woes!

I had shaking and sweating hands the first time I cut a steek, all for nothing. It turned out great, and yours will too. I think I am going to have to knit that sweater. I like every one of them I have seen.
