I'm ashamed to admit it took me almost a year to spin up 4 ozs of fiber...I hang my head in shame...
I started it just before we left for the beach last September, then on October 12th Rudy came to live with us.
But isn't it purty? I have over 5oo yds navajo plied, fingering weight yarn to work with! Hmmmmm....
Now I'm digging through my fiber stash trying to decide which one is next. Decisions-decisions!
My BlogBuddy Robin tagged me for a Meme to list six unimportant things that make me happy. I don't think "unimportant" is a very good word...but these are things that make me feel all warm & fuzzy.
1) listening to birds sing
2) my garden (both flower & veggie)
3) snuggling with Rudy
4) the smell of a campfire (even if it gets my allergies going)
5) sitting by a waterfall or babbling brook
6) the way I feel after I run...invigorated!
I'm supposed to tag six other people. But I'm just going to say "if you feel froggy....jump!" Please let me know if you decide to play along, I'd love to read yours too.
Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!

Beautiful yarn! At least you are spinning again. I need to work on that soon...
Very pretty!! Keep up the spinning!!!
MMMMMmmm...lovely! Pat yourself on the back; you did a great job! My roving is still sitting (untouched) in its bags and I haven't even looked at my wheel in a year. :S I've got to learn and get busy myself.
Have a wonderful weekend and again, beautiful work!
That yarn is GORGEOUS!!!! I might feel froggy AFTER this weekend and play along then. Time will tell.
You and me both about the campfire smoke. I love a campfire, but man, it'll give me a killer asthma attack.
Stunning! I love the colors.
WOW! Some seriously beautiful yarn, good for you for finishing! BTW, Thistle Cove Farm is in Country Magazine - June July issue and country-magazine.com, I'm over the moon!
The yarn is gorgeous! Congrats for finishing.
What happy yarn! I don't think unimportant is a good word. Love the water and the campfire. I was outside this morning and had just filled the birdfeeder and hung in back in the tree when the wind picked up. I LOVED standing there with my eyes closed with the wind blowing in my face. Loved it!
That yarn is screaming SUMMER! Love. IT!
Miss seeing you. Glad that you had a relaxing vacay.

Absolutely LUV this yarn you spun up. It's gorgeous. All my favorite colors!
Hubby and I used to do historical reenactments. Met Beth Gilgun once. Met Jeb Stuart IV at the same rondyvoo. :) We had lots of fun.
Where did your wedding take place at? Beautiful pic.
I live in PA but all of my family is from VA/WV. I was lucky enough to have a trip to the L.O.V. in Richmond once. Spent eight hours there doing research. I was in heaven!
