Cinco De Mayo!

(2 days in a row...amazing)

I've been reading up on the Ravings of MDS&W...apparently I MISSED IT totally!! I am enjoying reading ALL the reviews! I can't wait to see what the gals in our group came back with....Maybe next year Chase will skip a birthday?!

I promised knitting content and I'm delivering! I started another summer top, though this time I'm not as excited as I was about the last one. I don't know if it's the design or the yarn...or maybe the design isn't right for the yarn. Then again it could be my allergy induced state that's preventing my enjoyment.
Yarn: KnitPicks CotLin
Pattern: GarnStudios #106-2
I am modifying this pattern a little...a little shorter and without the "bobbles"--I'm just not a "bobble girl"!

Here's some close up detail:

One other thing I forgot to blog about was my MOST wonderful and surprising souvenir package from New Orleans!!

Check out those scissors...one more Chick for my Coop! Thanks Bobbi...you're the most thoughtful and best Cosmic Sister this Chick could ever ask for! Hubby received some nice H-D pins to add to his collection, Thanks Doogie!

I'll be so glad when the pollen count goes down...

Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!!!

OH, ROBIN! I have been eyeballing that pattern for a few weeks - I just LOVE it! Good luck and it will be so much fun watching how yours comes along. And what a rich beautiful color you've picked. Keep it up! :)

You said that you wished you were along shopping with us. Now you know that you DID go shopping in New Orleans.
Actually, after seeing how huge the place was when we walked in the door, I gave Special K instructions to look for all chicken related items while I browsed. Thanks to you, I was able to browse in peace w/o someone asking if it was time to leave yet.

I think the start of that sweater is beautiful! I hope you stick with it. (I'm playing catch up here.)
