The whole episode brought constant chills up and down my back until her body was found years later. Nowadays we can only hope that our girls keep their heads straight and not trust everyone who seems "okay" looks-wise.<br />=:8somebunnysloveDOTcomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12498002228258987013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18293943.post-61707355490761291252007-01-17T19:33:00.000-05:002007-01-17T19:33:00.000-05:00It is so hard not to internalize and personalize t...It is so hard not to internalize and personalize these stories, and often they do hit close to home. I just have to keep praying that the awful things won't happen, and reminding my (adult) kiddos to stay the course... eldest son is going to a trade show in Las Vegas next week with his job and I could joke and say "I better not get a call from a bail bondsman", but they all know that I am there hoping the best for them and reminding them to stay away from trouble. Hope you sleep better tonight.Birdsonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06341638516293843227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18293943.post-51725759102489672732007-01-17T15:09:00.000-05:002007-01-17T15:09:00.000-05:00There's no way to keep bad things from happening t...There's no way to keep bad things from happening to good people...we just have to trust that whatever happens is a part of the "plan." We always think things like this happen in large cities, it just makes it worse when it happens so near to home. But most of the time everyone is OK, and we just have to have faith that things will work out fine.
