My Dear Friends--

I have several friends going through some hard times, please know you are in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Here's a poem for y'all--

Cherished Friends
Author Unknown

God must have know there would be times we'd need a word of cheer,
Someone to praise a triumph or brush away a tear.
He must have known we'd need to share the joy of "little things"
In order to appreciate the happiness life brings.
I think He knew our troubled hearts would sometimes throb with pain,
At trials and misfortunes, or goals we can't attain.
He knew we'd need the comfort of an understanding heart
To give us strength and courage to make a fresh, new start.
He knew we'd need companionship, unselfish....lasting....true,
And so God answered the heart's great need with Cherished Friends....like you!!

Just moments ago I received a phone call that Little Mason Joseph didn't make it. He fought for life for 2 1/2 weeks...now there's a new angel in Heaven.

Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!!

Oh I'm sorry, but what a great poem. Thank you for sharing. I hope Mason's family has a strong support system...

Please pass on my thoughts and prayers to your friend. Don't forget to keep some for yourself because you need support too!

I recently read a little story, which was about animals but I think it applies to children as well.
Humans live longer than animals, because we have to learn to love, and be kind, while animals are born with the ability to love unconditionally. They're born ready for heaven.
The same applies to children.
*hugs*

I'm sad about your friend's grandson. Being a Nanna myself, I can only imagine how tortuous losing a grandchild would be. I'm sure they will be grateful for good friends and family right now. Hugs.
