Spring?

Where the heck did Spring go? Though we need the rain it could be warmer! Friday it was 75 degrees, it hasn't been out of the 40's for the past 2 days...I'm chilled to the bone! Oh, and yesterday morning when I got up there was sleet on the ground!? I better not complain too much, it'll be hot & humid before we know it.

So what does a cold, wet Saturday & Sunday get me? Spinning time!

My spun singles...

Navajo plied...12 wpi.

Approx. 265 yds and another 6 oz's of fiber left to go...

Milo is home and doing much better, I can't wait to go see him! BUT...Ace is not feeling so good. I don't know if everyone is aware but if you need some background please read THIS....now that you have read that~~The Old Man has apparently thrown out his back! Either that or his arthritis is flaring. While in the Dr's office I read a chart that showed that Mr. Ace is in his "Geriatric Years" and at the age of 93. I guess he believes in the old saying "use it or lose it"!

Well, now that I've left you with that thought...

Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!!

Sleet, eh? It went straight from Springish to Summerish this week for us - bleeeeck! It shouldn't already be HOT for us, we are tormented with plenty in months to come. It won't be long before we'll all be prisoners of Summer - too hot to play outside.

I'm so glad Milo is doing well, now, but sorry for Ace. =( poor kitty

I do know about the weather stuff - and you know, maybe that's what's got Mr. Ace - The damp chill and ups and downs in temps? It's a *itch to get old, right, Mr. A?
Great news about Milo, tho!
And that purple/wine fiber is gorgeous!!!
(((hugs)))

So glad to hear Milo is home. I know he was missed. And Mr. C's age with this weather probably aren't cooperating too well, huh? Your spun yarn is FABULOUS!!!! I'm in love with the colors.

Okay, since my spinning book is at home, tell me what Navajo plied means, pretty please?!

It's lovely, it really is, and I want to spin like that.

I'm SO glad Milo is home, and so sorry that Ace has thrown out his back. I'd say poor old man, but he might feel it was all worth it...

April showers started early for us, huh?! I'm not a rainy-day woman, not when I have to leave the house, not with two dogs.

The spinning is marvelous Robin! Wonderful colors.

Glad to hear that Milo is up and about, but I was sorry to read that Ace isn't feeling the best. I hope everyone recovers soon. XOXO
