Decisions...Decisions....

A decision has been made!

Eva Braun will become...

St. Brigid!!!
I've had this pattern in the back of my mind for years! While searching through pattern after pattern I went to my Ravelry queue...and the light bulb came on!!
The color is perfect, the weight is perfect and when else would I come up with more than enough yardage to finish such a project?

I'm also going to start a summer sweater/shell/vest using the Rowan Calmer (raverly link) I bought in AZ last summer.

I have lots of other projects I want to cast on for...including lots of socks!

WIPS~
I'm currently finishing up a BSJ for Landon.

I'm still on a spinning kick...

My 2 lace projects (Civil War Shawl & Honeybee Stole) are on hold...

Good News~~
Springtime is on it's way!!!
As I walked out the front door this morning I saw the first robin of Spring! Daffodils are blooming on Main St. The time changes this weekend and the winds of March are (and have been) upon us!
This is the time of year when I come out of the cave (just like an Ole Bear) greet the sun and feel so much more energized! Yesssssss!!

Keep on Knittin' & Spinnin'!!!

That's a fantastic sweater! Wonderful choice you made. And the winds of March are upon us here, too. No daffodils yet, but they will come. :)
Want to see that sweater on needles soon! tee hee

The St. Brigid is gorgeous - - your sweater will stand as a knitting "monument" for the rest of us.

P.S. I wear sweater size... ;)

Love the sweater!
I think it'll be a LONG time yet before we see a robin. Still only 30 degrees here AND 18 inches of snow on the ground.

Love your choice - excellent!!

That's right, set the bar high for the rest of us spinning knitters! St Brigid is going to be lovely, and just imagine when you are asked about the sweater and you get to say "oh yes, and I did spin the yarn for it too!"

St. Brigid is the perfect choice! Will we ever get caught up on our knitting projects? I saw a whole bunch of Robins when I was walking by the river the other day! All together too.

Good choice!

The spring winds are going to cause 25 to 30 below zero windchills here tomorrow. Bleah!

Wait, St. Brigid from Aran Knitting (am I mixing up the books)? Do you have that book? Lucky, lucky girl...

I think that will be a wonderful match!

That's going to be gorgeous!

The daffodils keep trying to come up here, but then another frost comes along and kills them. :-(
