Just one of THOSE days...

...when you wish you'd never gotten out of bed! Mr Ace found it in himself to wake me up VERY early this morning~TWICE!

It has been a Chocolate and Wine sort of day...by 10am I was definitely thinking it must be 5 o'clock somewhere! This day was so bad that I left work early...in tears!

Anyway...it has gotten better, with the help of some very good friends and my wonderful Hubby...NO, I don't even know a *Jack Daniels* or *George Dickel*!

I got my walk in...and found these in my front yard!

It is so nice to see these smiling faces!

Well, I seriously NEED to knit for a while...catch you all later and I promise I'll be in a better mood!

Keep on Knittin', Spinnin' & Walkin'!!!!

Oh dear, that just sucks. The Smooch seems to think I should get up at 4am to feed her....so I do understand that business but oh, that 'it's so bad you leave work early in tears' just sucks.
I'm sure the walk helped, and the crocus/crocii (?)(heh) are indeed such beauties. Those 2 dudes, Jack and George, they're not such good company in the morning...
Get some serious knitting in, and feel better. :^)

Robin, I know just the kind of day you mean! The best cure I know of is to apply lots of fiber. And chocolate. Definitely chocolate. As to the cat....I have absolutely no control over mine whatsoever, so if you figure out how to turn them off in the wee hours, do let me know..= )

Oh No! Sorry to hear about your day!
You know that bottle of wine that's been in the last few photos from on my computer table? It's an Italian chocolate wine. No kidding. Wish we lived closer! We'd crack it open, bake the brie that's currently in my refrigerator and knit! Nothing better!

So sorry that yesteday was a crummy day, but knitting and flowers will make you feel better every time. I can't count the number of times my tears were dried by the needles, the fiber and a flower, even a fake one. Gives us a reason to march back in there and kick butt and take names.

Crocus do lend a smile don't they? I have some yellow and purple ones. And the Robin's (birds!!) are back. Spring and smiles are on their way. Sorry work was rough, and tears? Yikes. Hopefully an evening of knitting took care of it.
